Big Fun with the Dark Lord
Yesterday, we shot our long planned project “Dreaming of the Dark Side” at the photoworkers studio, which is a tribute to Marie-Louise’s sister Kathrin. As she is an important part of our team, we wanted to thank her with the realization of one of her own ideas. She’s a huge Star Wars fan, so we got together to think about a story with Darth Vader and a twi’lek lady. We got support from the Swiss Garrison (501st Legion) that sent us Darth Vader himself accompanied by a stormtrooper.
The pictures of the story are still in the post-production phase and not ready for publishing yet. But we already have some behind the scenes pictures of this funny shoot! There were two making-of video cameras with us. We will show you in detail how to shoot high reflective materials such as plastic or foil. Stay tuned for the editorial and the behind the scenes video of this special theme.
UPDATE March 20, 2011:

Thank you, for these photos.
Did you use a film filter for the color toning, or manually by curves or other?
Thank you again,
Stefano
For these behind the scenes pictures, we only retouched some spots on the background and used the same color adjustment curves as for the real editorial pictures.
Cheers
